ROLE SUMMARY AND DETAILS

Success will require compelling marketing communications skills, significant technical strength, gaining credibility with customers immersed in the world of asset performance and reliability, and most importantly the energy to have a direct and positive impact on Ivara’s software sales efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Help to establish the Ivara reliability community through different forums to promote Ivara products and services and create new leads for the sales team
  • Promote the Ivara application through talks, articles, blogs, collaterals, website, tradeshows, conferences, demonstrations, etc.
  • Find ways to create customers who are evangelists for Ivara and help the sales team to close sales through strong customer facing skills
  • Work across departments within the company to gather information about the user experience, technology, functionality, etc. and maximize the delivery of service and value to the customer
  • Work with the company to aggressively grow the business
  • Establish strong relationships within the company and become an extension of the business in the external world

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tireless promoter
  • World-class communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical value propositions
  • A high degree of comfort working with technology products including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Acrobat), superior Microsoft office skills (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Experience using social media marketing technologies
  • SEO experience
  • Demonstrated customer-facing skills
  • Creative and innovative in discovering actionable results
  • Aggressive and energetic about setting high goals and achieving them
  • Ability to work closely with clients and peers to continually understand and anticipate their needs
  • Collaborative nature to enable success of sales team

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

  • University or college diploma/degree in marketing, graphic / web design
  • 2 - 3 years in a marketing operations environment in a fast-paced technology environment
